Een vermoeide
Schalley kwam relatief snel tot remise tegen Vandeberg. De Vries ging in de fout
in een partij die hij nooit had mogen verliezen en Hermans kon zich geen tweede
keer opladen voor een kwalitatief hoogstaande partij. Trouet en Wilvers gaven
elkaar geen duimbreed toe waardoor de strijd om de rode lantaarn helemaal open
blijft.
